| Darren J. Moll is President of Ashton Management Services, LLC, A Professional Hospitality Management Services Company focused on corporate events and catering. Moll earned a bachelor's degree in hospitality administration and an associate's degree in hotel and restaurant management from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, R.I., and his postgraduate studies in international hospitality business at the University of California, Los Angeles. Moll has an extensive hospitality background that includes over twelve years of executive management experience managing food and beverage operations in various luxury hotels, private clubs and private restaurant companies throughout the world. He has worked for the Four Seasons Hotel Company at the Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach, Fla., The Fairmont Hotel Company at the Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, Calif., and the Omni Los Angeles Hotel and Centre in Downtown Los Angeles. His resume also includes being the Director of Food & Beverage at the Newport Harbor Yacht Club in Newport Beach, Calif., one of the most exclusive yacht clubs in the nation and the Director of Banquets and Catering at The Hotel Arts in Barcelona, Spain, a Ritz- Carlton hotel that has earned recognition around the world as the leading provider of five-star meeting and banquet facilities. It was voted the “#1 Business Hotel in Europe” three years in a row by Condé Nast Traveler. While in Spain, Moll was selected to be part of the elite management team opening the first five star luxury hotel; The Ritz-Carlton Doha in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar. After returning to the United States, Moll was the Chief Operating Officer of a private restaurant company; co-founding, co-creating, opening and establishing two new concepts and the renovation of a third location. In 2004, Moll created Diversified Hospitality Services, Inc. where he managed the daily food service with several fortune 500 companies within the Dallas / Fort Worth area. In January 2006, Moll merged DHS and formed Ashton Management Services, LLC with Fort Worth Investor Shirlee Gandy to manage the day to day operations of the historically renovated Santa Fe Depot, now called the The Ashton Depot. In addition, Moll has served on the Executive Board of the California Restaurant Association, Westside, Beverly Hills Chapter and an Executive Board Member for the International Food and Wine Society, West Coast Chapter in California. He also maintains an active role in the highly acclaimed food and beverage society; Chaine des Rotisseurs, and the James Beard Society based out of New York. He resides in Grapevine, Texas with his wife and daughter. |
